Led a Year-Long Stakeholder Effort to Move the City of Charlotte Toward a 100% Low-Carbon Future

Seven NC counties have passed resolutions to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050 and eleven cities have city resolutions with similar goals.

 

Protected Voter Rights

Forced legislators through a court victory to revise language on two ballot measures which would have radically restructured the state’s separation of powers between the executive and judicial branches. Voters ultimately rejected both measures by wide margins.

Our Medical Advocates for Healthy Air program provided monthly advocacy training to Pediatric Residents at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital and Duke University School of Medicine.

In 2018, two of NC’s largest hospital systems Novant Health and Atrium Health, along with UNC Charlotte, pledged to improve air quality on construction sites.
