Employer Matching Gift Programs
You can support Clean Air Carolina through your workplace in several ways. Hundreds of companies will match their employees’ gifts to nonprofit organizations. This is an easy way for you to double your support for your favorite clean air organization. Here’s how to get started:
- Contact your personnel or human resources office to determine if your employer makes matching gifts to nonprofits. The company may designate the types of organizations, such as educational, environmental or health services, to which they’ll contribute.
- Find out if you need to complete a form and can complete the paperwork on-line. Complete the necessary information including the date and amount of your gift you have sent to Clean Air Carolina and submit this information to your employer.
- Contact Us to let us know you have requested a matching gift be made to Clean Air Carolina by your employer.
Another convenient way for you to support Clean Air Carolina is through your workplace’s annual charitable giving campaign. Clean Air Carolina is a member of EarthShare North Carolina, a federation of environmental nonprofits working to protect North Carolina’s natural environment. If your workplace giving program already includes EarthShare North Carolina, you can contribute directly to Clean Air Carolina through convenient payroll deductions.
If your workplace’s giving campaign does not include EarthShare, please contact us. We will be happy to provide information to your employer about including EarthShare North Carolina in your campaign.
