Put Clean Air Carolina in Your Will
Making a bequest is simple and straightforward. Let your advisor know your wishes and they will put the appropriate language in your will. If you already have a will, there is no need to rewrite it to include Clean Air Carolina; your lawyer can add a bequest through a simple codicil.
Various bequest options (and suggested language that might be helpful to you and your advisor) allow you to:
- Take care of your loved ones first, then leave whatever percentage of the remainder of your estate you choose to Clean Air Carolina.
I give and bequeath to Clean Air Carolina, 1112 Harding Place, Charlotte, NC 28204, federal Tax ID Number 57-0462653 _____ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal.
- State your intention by leaving a specific amount (or specific percentage of your total estate) to Clean Air Carolina.
