Development Manager – Full Time
Clean Air Carolina (CAC) is seeking a dynamic team leader who will plan and direct a comprehensive fundraising program in alignment with CAC’s mission and core values. The Development Manager will oversee all revenue generating activities including our annual campaign, special events, corporate sponsorships, planned giving, and major gifts. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, team-oriented, have more than six years of fundraising experience with a non-profit, and a strong commitment to helping grow philanthropy to extend CAC’s reach beyond Charlotte. This position reports to the Executive Director and can be based in either CAC’s Charlotte or Research Triangle Park office.
Marketing Communications Manager – Full Time
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and managing CAC’s communications strategy using content that elevates our reputation as a statewide advocacy organization and increases revenue. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled communicator who can convey new and compelling content through print and electronic media in alignment with CAC’s mission and core values. This position reports to the Executive Director and is based in CAC’s Research Triangle Park office.
College students can earn course credit by serving as an intern for Clean Air Carolina at any time during the year. Interns are especially needed to work with the AirKeeper Citizen Science Program and Medical Advocates for Healthy Air during the spring and fall semesters. In the past, we’ve had interns from Davidson College’s Sustainability Scholars Program, Duke University’s Stanback Internship Program, Northeastern University, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Charlotte.
