Giving Tuesday

Tuesday, November 28, 2017

We at Clean Air Carolina are so grateful to live in North Carolina, where we have a long history of protecting the environment and promoting policies that improve health. The most recent examples are winning a lawsuit against the Federal Highway Administration that resulted in reinstating an important clean air rule.

North Carolina voters have been on the forefront of advocating for policies like these for a long time, and we are proud to say that since 2002 Clean Air Carolina has helped lead many of these efforts.

But now is not a time for complacency. We have a lot more to do.

We are living in uncertain times and may see rollbacks of the pro-environment and pro-health policies of the recent past. We need to keep fighting the good fight to make sure that those who are currently negatively impacted by air pollution, as well future generations, can breathe freely.

Clean Air Carolina continues to advocate for clean air because 3 of the 5 leading causes of death in North Carolina are exacerbated by air pollution: heart disease, stroke, and COPD. Our work is especially important in disadvantaged communities, where air quality is poorest and asthma rates are highest.

We believe that everyone deserves to breathe free, no matter what neighborhood they live in.

That’s why we are asking for your support. Your donation will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of thousands of North Carolina residents, and will allow Clean Air Carolina to continue its work on improving health for all.

Are you willing to make a year-end donation to help us improve lung health and air quality in your community?

Please join us by making a donation on or before Tuesday, November 28 and help make it possible for everyone in North Carolina to breathe without struggle.
