Did you know ozone pollution not only impacts human health, but plant life too? Join us at Wing Haven Gardens in Charlotte on Saturday, July 22, 9am-10am, to learn more about ozone pollution, how it impacts plant life, and how to create your own “Ozone Garden” at home. Master Gardener and CAC’s Clear the Air for Kids Program Manager, Mary Stauble, will give a short presentation followed by Q&A from the audience. We’ll conclude with a short walk to CAC’s Ozone Garden on Little Sugar Creek Greenway along Westfield Road. Light refreshments provided, as well as a free ozone sensitive plant to help get you started! This is a free event but RSVP’s are required.
