Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet

June 25, 2020 - January 3, 2021

Free

Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet is a public art exhibition designed to inspire individuals and organizations to take action against climate change. Initially developed by environmental activist Wendy Abrams, Cool Globes includes the work of artists all over the world, who designed the globes using a variety of materials to create awareness and provoke discussion about potential solutions to climate change.

The innovative art project features 30 globes designed by artists from Charlotte and around the world. The exhibit will be on display in uptown Charlotte until January 3, 2021, located along North Tryon Street from The Square to 11th Street.

Cool Globes Charlotte has been infused with all things Charlotte, and provides a platform for local organizations to showcase their important efforts on sustainability. Clean Air Carolina is a proud partner in bringing the environmental art exhibit to the Queen City. Click here to learn more.
