Cool Globes Charlotte

“Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet”

On display along N. Tryon Street from Trade to 11th Streets through January 2021
Cool Globes Charlotte is an outdoor environmental art display in uptown Charlotte through the end of this year. Thirty-five globes each created by artists around the world (seven of those artists are local to Charlotte) feature ways to reduce the impacts of climate change. Most globes are placed along Tryon street from Trade Street to 11th Street with a few “teaser” globes located at Truist Field (formerly BB&T Park), Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, and the US National Whitewater Center.
